Assignments and Evaluation Procedures for English 495
Weekly micro-essays responding to the readings and to each other's texts:
The weekly micro-essys count for 20% of the final grade, and will be evaluated holistically at midpoint in the semester and again at the end of the semester
Final papers on a topic in Marxist Theory:
At the end of the semester each student will write a10-15 page essay on a topic to be negotiated between the student and instructor. These will count for 80% of the final grade.
