Euphemism is edited by undergraduate and graduate students at Illinois State University. We accept innovative poetry, fiction, creative non-fiction, visual art, spoken word, experimental sound and video projects, and original music from ISU students and from any and all writers, singers, musicians, artists, and filmmakers who send submissions. We welcome all lovers of words, sounds, ideas, images, and creativity.

Euphemism is interested in publishing your reviews of local creative events (including readings, films, performances, concerts, etc.). Check the submission guidelines for details. Reviews can be submitted at any point during the semester.
The Euphemism editorial staff meets regularly on Tuesday nights at 6 p.m. in the Publications Unit Office (Williams Hall Annex). In addition to working on the journal, the staff often meets to workshop pieces by staff members and strategize about supporting the creative writing community at ISU. We also discuss comic books, TV shows, and superhero films. If you are interested in joining the Euphemism staff or need directions to our meetings please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
