Against reason, I slow down, trying to pull myself together. They told me the drugs would work. They have to work. Jensen’s trustworthy, at least as trustworthy as anyone is in our profession.
I probably shouldn’t have had that sandwich this morning. It had a fishy taste, both literally and figuratively. If I hadn’t eaten it, I definitely would not have spent a two whole hours puking up in that shitty bathroom. Then I wouldn’t have been so damn late with this delivery.
Thank God, it stopped moving. It’s like carrying a malfunctioning time bomb. I never thought I would end up here. My parents told me I had a bright future once upon a time. To them, I was going to be the fucking president of the United States.

“Give us the box!”
Run to the Basement and keep the box
Knew I shouldn’t have slowed down…
