Thanks to WGLT Poetry Radio program editors Kirstin Hotelling Zona and Bill Morgan and program producer Bruce Bergethon for their support of the contest.
Euphemism and Poetry Radio (the weekly program on WGLT public radio) are pleased to co-sponsor a contest for Bloomington/Normal area poets of all ages. Three winners will be selected to record their poem at the GLT studio in Normal. Winning poems will also be highlighted in the Spring 2009 Issue of Euphemism (with a link to the podcast).

Since 1992, WGLT has collaborated with Illinois State University's English Department to produce Poetry Radio. Each program, between two and five minutes in length, spotlights a single poem, contemporary or classic, framed by a responsive piece of music.
