The eggs I made were poached,
But they weren’t really poached.
Something always goes wrong and the white floats at the top.


I admit I get impatient and break the yoke,
So the yellow goo oozes and hardens.
It all floats at the top.


Then I put oil in a pan and get upset.
I scramble the poached egg,
Just like I scrambled the sunny side up.
Can you smell the eggs?
I try so hard.
