This summer, we’ll be offering the following featured courses: 

 

Core Course – Online 

ENG 436 Foundations of Socially Just English Language Arts Instruction for Diverse Learners (3 c.)

Asynchronous - Week of May 31 

Synchronous Meetings  - June 7 – July 1

Elective Course – Online with optional in-person gathering 

ENG 499 Illinois State Writing Project (3 c.) 

with Dr. Bob Bain 

• Week 1: Wed. 7/6 through Fri. 7/8  

• Week 2: Mon. 7/11 through Fri. 7/15  

• Week 3: Mon. 7/18 through Thurs. 7/21 

Note: Visiting students are welcome to enroll in this course, too. 

 

2022 Summer Retreat 

All students who are accepted into the Master’s of English Education program will join one another for the annual Summer Retreat.  

Saturday, June 18 – Monday, June 20 

Bloomington - Normal, Illinois

Students will be responsible for their own housing and meals.
