• Poet Laureate Creates Resource for Illinois Teachers of English
• Kimberly Berls: The Center for Cultural Interchange in Chicago. CCI is a registered nonprofit organization headquartered in Chicago.
  Seeking teaching positions: My organization currently has a number of excellent teaching positions available to teachers who are interested in teaching in Korea, Taiwan and China. Our services are free for licensed teachers. CCI partners with Ministries of Education as well as private schools abroad (some universities) that are in need of native English-speaking teachers for their schools.
  
  The positions we offer boast a generous monthly salary, free furnished accommodation, round trip airfare, paid vacation packages, bonus structure, and medical insurance. CCI continues to act as a liaison between the teacher and their overseas employer for the length of their contract. Many teachers opt to stay for more than one year, which is an option with nearly every employer we work with.

  I understand this type of opportunity is not for everyone, but we are receiving many applications every day from teachers who can’t secure jobs in the US, particularly from young teachers, who are opting to go abroad.
