Day of Renewal Workshop

Each February the Illinois State Writing Project and the Illinois Association of Teachers of English invites Writing Project participants to return for an exciting opportunity for renewal and study; often the demonstrations for this day come from the Saturday workshops where attendants have been developing their own demos around a theme on which the workshops are based: the teaching of language, the teaching of rhetoric, and the teaching of writing with technology. Demonstrations cover a variety of writing skills and writing process lessons that are classroom-ready. These fresh ideas are based on proven, research and practice. Participants enjoy discussion and application of lessons to rejuvenate their writing curriculum. CPDUs are available.
