English Studies Series Guest Lecturer
Dr. Peter Blaze Corcoran
As the English Studies Series Featured Speaker, Dr. Peter Blaze Corcoran will present "The Urgency of Mainstreaming Sustainability in Higher Education: The Promise of Earth Charter Ethics" at the CVA University Galleries on Thursday, February 24, from 4:00-5:30 p.m.
Earlier that day, from 10:00–11:30 a.m., Dr. Corcoran will present "Global Environmental Education" followed by casual discussion and refreshments in STV 133.
On Friday, February 25, from 9:30-11:00 a.m., Dr. Corcoran will present an interactive workshop at CTLT. This will be a rare opportunity to bring together faculty and staff with community-based individuals to hear his presentation on the topic of Sustainability, Community Building, and Social Justice. Following his short talk, Dr. Corcoran will facilitate a dialogue among the participants about current projects and future possibilities for campus and community collaborations. A light breakfast will be served.
