Sigma Tau Delta Welcomes New Members Spring 2011

 

Sigma Tau Delta, The Lambda Delta Chapter of The International English Honor Society at Illinois State University is an organization dedicated to the promotion of quality recognition of excellence. In 1991, the ISU Sigma Tau Delta chapter was reactivated by faculty sponsors William Spurlin and Sally Parry.

On March 22, Sigma Tau Delta held its Fall 2011 New Member Initiation. PhD candidate Erin Frost welcomed attendees. English Studies majors Jessica Wozniak provided a brief history of the organization and Kelsey Coker introduced guest speaker, Dr. K. Aaron Smith. The program concluded with the induction of new member initiates Michele Amato, Kelly Bradley, Gina Cooke, Jennifer Davis, Anna Fogel, Julia Frederick, Adreine Galindo, Megan Gorsuch, Aaron Lankster, Miranda Leake, Rachel Parish, Kaitlyn Ralph, Sarah Zavoral and New Members by Transfer Flourice Richardson and Jessica Safran.
