Weekly responses (20% of Total Grade):
There will be weekly reading-responses, to be posted to the course webboard. I have posted some sample responses from a previous course to give you an idea of the sort of responses you could write.

Two Formal Essays (40% Each):
There will be two formal essays. I will provide some suggested topics, but students are welcome to suggest their own topics.
