Report Assignment Sheet
In order to do the report for this assignment, your job is to do basic research on the topic area by working collaboratively. The clas needs to have a clear understanding of your topic by the end of your report.
You need to do the following things:
- meet with me in my office for a brief discussion
- arrange to meet your collaborative group at the library
- use the bibliographies in your packet, as well as those in Aughterson and your copies of Shakespeare
The bibliography should include the following:
- MLA style
- five articles, within the past ten years, that discuss your topic area in conjunction with the play associated with it
- three background sources, within the last 25 years, that you used to create the report you give in class
The day of the report, you will turn in the following:
- a typed copy of the group's report
- a bibliography, MLA style, including the above bibliographical items, as well as anything else, including web site addresses, that you used to compose the report
- assessment of each person in the group's contribution to the overall project. These will be written privately and given to me individually
Format:
- the report should be about 15 minutes long
- handouts can be used if you get them to me 24 hours in advance
- the technology tower may be used (if it is working, but you must try out your presentation before the day of class
Final issues:
- be sure to practice and time your report
- be sure that you follow a collaborative format, rather than giving a series of small individual reports
