Publications Unit Partners Program

The Publications Unit Partners Program seeks to establish or enhance connections between the Department of English at Illinois State University and area schools by providing high school and junior high school students access to learning opportunities in publishing studies, creative writing, editing, graphic design, publicity, and event planning.

These opportunities will prepare students for their college and professional careers by providing unique learning opportunities and access to mentorship from college faculty and student staff, fulfilling the community outreach mission stated in Educating Illinois.

Partnerships can include field trips, workshops, consultations, or ongoing relationships related to publishing, career training, or writing. To propose a partnership, contact PublicationsUnit@ilstu.edu.
