Illinois Association of Teachers of English (IATE)

IATE is one of the oldest professional organizations for teachers of English language arts in the nation. IATE offers support and assistance to teachers throughout the state.

Illinois State Writing Project (ISWP)

The Illinois State Writing Project emphasizes teacher research and teacher writing, asking each participant to identify a problem and then spend four weeks writing and working on a teaching activity or set of activities that will address the problem.
