Biography

Dr. Katharine (Katie) Landers is a Visiting Assistant Professor in the Department of English, where she teaches women's literature. Her research focuses on 17th century women's writing, and her current book project, Dressing Authority, considers dress as a form of resistant political speech in early modern English women's drama, poetry, and life writing. Her work appears or is forthcoming in English Literary Renaissance, Early Modern Women, Clio, and Journal of British Studies.
